WELS offers its new intensive TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification program catered to those who wish to earn the qualifications to teach English as a Second Language, adopt invaluable teaching methodologies expertise or want to enhance current teaching practices.
TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate programs are held in reputable university campuses across America such as University of California¡¯s Riverside and San Bernardino campuses and UCLA. Clients will learn to become versatile teachers and receive an internationally recognized certificate of completion. Becoming certified means that you will have a competitive advantage in the job market.
In addition to enrolling in the TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate program, clients will also receive 15 extra hours of study per week. Study includes intensive English classes taught by experienced TESOL/TESL instructors as well as classes geared toward adopting important Life Skills to help one transition smoothly to American culture and lifestyle. Clients will also enjoy leisurely activities while visiting popular tourist attractions in California.

1. 24 hour care
WELS offers 24 hour care to its clients. WELS staff works around the clock to provide inclusive service to its clients. WELS staff provide academic guidance such as tutoring, English classes, counseling and Life Skills lessons.?WELS also offers services to monitor the overall well-being of its clients including 24-hour security, organic meals, physical activities, safety drills and transportation. At WELS, care is not limited to the classroom, but is provided throughout the duration of client¡¯s stay.
2. In-house
Because of the highly trained staff and company outlook, WELS is able to provide service in-house. This means that WELS takes it upon itself to provide individual care to its clients. WELS uses its own facilities and does not outsource services to minimize the risks for its clients. WELS offers its own dormitories situated in an area that promotes nature and healthy living. On-site facilities also include a library, lounge, dining hall, kitchen, tutoring/study rooms and a computer room with Internet access. There is also a wide range of sporting amenities such as a swimming pool, hot tub, weight training room, basketball court, tennis court, hiking trails, Judo & Taekwondo area, canoeing area and many more!
3. Healthy living
WELS takes pride in promoting healthy living. While academic performance is important, WELS also encourages healthy living to its clients through exercise and nutrition. WELS remains to be the only organization to provide 100% USDA certified organic meals in its dining hall. WELS' cooks are highly trained in preparing foods of all ethnicity and only use organic ingredients. WELS understands the difficulties of eating foods that are foreign and caters to those who wish to eat foods that remind them of home. In particular, WELS cooks prepare Korean meals to minimize the feeling of being homesick.
4. Safety
Safety is of high priority at WELS. WELS provides 24-hour onsite security and takes measures to ensure protection at all times. WELS hires experienced security guards at night and practices safety drills periodically. There is also a WELS Resident Attendant who lives on the premises in case of an emergency. WELS also implements a sign-out system in its dormitories to be able to locate all clients at all times.
5. Orientation
All clients will have an orientation session upon arrival to minimize culture shock and help clients transition smoothly. WELS understands that adjusting to a new environment can be difficult and takes time to prepare clients to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience in America.
6. ESL classes
ESL classes are provided by WELS' excellent and highly skilled teachers. In addition to the Certificate program, WELS offers 15 extra hours of intensive English classes covering areas such as Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Areas such as Pronunciation, Conversation and Everyday English are also provided to help clients become fluent speakers.
7. Life Skills lessons
Life Skills lessons are taught by native North American teachers, who were born, grew up and lived in North America throughout their lives. Therefore, these teachers are best qualified to teach the skills which are essential in learning American culture not taught in schools.
